While the health benefits of Fermented Foods go back centuries, let's be honest... it's just FUN! This class takes a deep dive into all things fermented. Did you know fermented foods give your gut a healthy dose of probiotics (if you didn't, you need this class). We will ferment all things milk (fear not vegans - we've got you covered!) - yogurt and greek yogurt, creme fraiche, buttermilk, even fermented butter. Then we start talking vegetables. We start with sauerkraut, veggie kraut, then move on to kimchi, pepper paste and fermented how sauces (such as sriracha). We can't forgot our fermented beverages of Ginger Beer (not really a beer), Ginger Bug and Kombucha. In this hands on class, you will make lots of great items to take home, as well as all the information to share these great flavorful products in the future.
