You suddenly need to learn “gluten free” and have no idea where to start…? Due to medical necessity, my daughter needed to “go gluten free” over twelve years ago – when there were a lot less gluten free products on the market. I was forced to learn, so this hands-on class shares with you knowledge, such as how to get creative by substituting gluten free ingredients in place of flours, new snack options and how to shop for gluten free products. We’ll also get our hands in the dough to make a gluten free bread that can be used for a load, cinnamon rolls, or doughnuts (or use your imagination). You will take home knowledge to feel comfortable cooking gluten free, as well as several of my go-to recipes. Please note that while we make every effort to avoid cross contamination, this is a traditional bakery, so this class may not be suitable for celiac students.
