Do you love bagels??? Our bagels are sourdough, with no commercial yeast. Not only is this healthier, but sooo much tastier. In this class, we walk you through taking care of your sourdough starter, then get our hands in the dough. We learn about mixing, kneading and shaping the bagels, as well as ketteling and baking the bagels. We talk about recipe development and how to create lots of different varieties of bagels from one base recipe. Take home the bagels you made in classto bake the next day, as well as a some of bagels baked in class, as well as the base bagel recipe and lots of inspiration. Class 3-5
Cancellations— Due to the limited nature of this class, here are no refunds (you may choose to send someone else). In the event inclement weather or the need for The Kentucky Millstone to cancel a class, we will either grant a full refund or defer payment to another class.
Kids aged 12+ are welcome to join an adult in a regularly scheduled class, but they must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who is also attending and participating in class. Each person attending must have their own ticket. If you have a child under 12 who would like to come to class, send us an email and we can discuss!
