In this class, we will create the Iconic Kentucky Millstone Carrot Cake from start to finish. Each person will be making their own 12” cake. We start with making the cake, chock full of nuts, carrots, pineapple and coconut (but you can customize this, if you choose).

While it is baking, we will whip up a batch of Cream Cheese icing and the candied nuts. We will then have a demonstration on making the caramel for the cake. We’ll talk about shortcuts and substitutions, to make it even easier, if you choose. We will them assemble the cake, with all it’s glorious layer! You will take home their own person carrot cake (feeds 6-8), along with all the notes and the confidence and knowledge to create this cake for a lifetime! Class is 2:30-6:00. Cancellations— Due to the limited nature of this class, here are no refunds (you may choose to send someone else). In the event inclement weather or the need for The Kentucky Millstone to cancel a class, we will either grant a full refund or defer payment to another class.

Kids aged 12+ are welcome to join an adult in a regularly scheduled class, but they must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who is also attending and participating in class. Each person attending must have their own ticket. If you have a child under 12 who would like to come to class, send us an email and we can discuss!
