Banana bread is the staple quick bread for a lot of families, but many people shy away from including a healthy whole wheat flour into their recipes. For this recipe, we wanted to preserve the flavor of a delicious banana bread, without sacrificing the nutritional value and health benefits of whole wheat flour. We decided to use Louismill Soft White Wheat Flour, which is perfect for baked goods of all sorts, and found that we didn’t really have to do much modifying from our original recipe. This amazing and healthy banana bread is perfect for family get-togethers and house warming parties. Try toasting the walnuts before chopping them and try using honey or maple syrup in place of some of the sugar.
